About Project HiVECORE
History of Project HiVECORE
Project HiVECORE was started in 2022 as a small private community of inspiring personalities and talents. We started with members who shared similar interests, but have grown to include many creators, including artists, gamers, personalities, aspiring entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts in their respective creative spaces.
In 2023, we reevaluated the trajectory of Project HiVECORE in favor of pursuing our efforts in a nonprofit direction, and as of June 2023, Project HiVECORE was officially registered and recognized as a Nonprofit Corporation out of California primarily serving members in the USA with plans to expand support to the global creator ecosystem in the future with your support.
We have a long journey ahead of us as a nonprofit startup, but the vision for HiVECORE to be an advocate for the future generations of creators and talented individuals remains at the forefront of our mission.
Why did we start Project HiVECORE?
It is our conclusion that the current digital economy cannot sustain the continued influx of independent entrepreneurs, creators, and talents.
With the ever-growing use of digital devices, social media, and pursuit of content creation, Project HiVECORE was formed to tackle the challenge of supporting underrepresented small-to-medium sized individual creators, talents, and groups that struggle to find the network, education, and resources needed to build sustainable independence in the digital world.
In 2019, a Bloomberg study reported that over 86% of children in the west dream of pursuing a career as a social media influencer. In 2020 and throughout the coronavirus pandemic, platforms like YouTube and Twitch show that content creation and livestreaming participation gained tens of thousands of new users with reports showing over 300% growth in such activities. In a Linktree Creator Economy report in 2022, it was further shown that only the top 12% of full-time creators make a sustainable living of $50k annually, while that percentage drops to as little as 3% for part-time creators.
We see charitable organizations focused on supporting the arts, but we don't see many organizations focused on the modern virtual creator ecosystem. Project HiVECORE strives to help such creators looking for opportunities in the digital landscape.
